Del Popolo happily accepts reservations for parties of all sizes. Reservations for parties of two to six can be made through our website or the Resy app. For parties larger than six, please email privatedining@delpopolosf.com.

We also hold the 16 seats at our communal tables, as well as several other smaller tables throughout the evening, for walk-in guests.

The Garden is a private outdoor dining space located directly behind Del Popolo. It is available year-round for seated dinners of up to 32 guests or standing receptions of up to 45 guests.

Del Popolo is available for private events within fifty miles of San Francisco. We’ll drive the truck to your location, bake our pizza on-site and serve it buffet-style or as a passed appetizer fresh out of the oven. While the menu is typically comprised of three or four different pizzas, we can also provide salad and non-alcoholic beverages for an additional reasonable fee. Currently, the pizzeria's small plates are not available as part of our catering menu.

Logistically, the truck is big - 30 feet long by 8 feet wide - so we need about thirty-five feet of relatively flat parking with fifteen feet of overhead clearance. It’s also important that access roads to the event venue are suitable for a large truck.

Pricing is based on a variety of factors, so please provide us with the following information and we’ll get back to you with our availability and a price quote. Typically, events makes the most sense when they consist of 50 or more people, and our minimum in San Francisco is $1,650 exclusive of tax.

Del Popolo launched as a mobile pizzeria in May of 2012, churning out Neapolitan-inspired pizza from a glass enclosed shipping container on a Freightliner truck.

In November 2015, we opened our brick-and-mortar restaurant, featuring the same naturally-leavened, wood-fired pizza we’ve obsessed over since 2012, along with market-driven antipasti and a curated list of wine and beer.

While we continue to enjoy slinging pies in our truck on the streets of San Francisco, we’re also pleased to now offer you a chance to eat your pizza in a chair. With a glass of wine. Come stay awhile!

The Del Popolo truck features a traditional, Italian-made wood-fired oven housed in a twenty-foot transatlantic shipping container that's been re-purposed and modified into a kitchen.

Most weeks, you can find us serving lunch to the public from Tuesday through Friday, with private events on nights and weekends. It’s always a good idea to check our schedule, which you can find below, to avoid disappointment.
